Nivea MicellAir Review Nivea Acne Clear Micellair Water
Used a cotton pad to remove the makeup stains and the only thing that remained was the Maybelline Matte Ink Super Stay.

I was actually invited to the launch of this product, but unfortunately, I had to decline. Of course, I lost my chance to meet Liza Soberano but it's okay, I'm not a fan anyway. Lol. I was already in Manila for two weeks and I was kinda feeling guilty because I left my husband all alone in Bataan. I came home at the day of the launch and I just decided to buy this when I was at Alabang.

Nivea Acne Clear 0% Alcohol Micellair Water Review
It comes in clear plastic packaging and two sizes, 125ml and 400ml. Of course I bought the acne-clear variant instead of the extra-whitening one which comes in pink. Like other micellar waters, this promises to deeply remove dirt, oil, and no rinsing needed.

When I'm wearing a full face of makeup, primer, foundation, brows, mascara, basically the whole she-bang, I usually use three to four cotton pads to remove everything. The way that it cleanses feels very, very gentle on skin and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or roughed up. I also love that this doesn't have any alcohol in it so I can safely use this on my eyes without any fear of stinging.

I have pretty sensitive skin also, obviously acne-prone, and I've never had an issue with this Nivea Micellar breaking me out. You see, I did have a breakout with a previous micellar water before and I vowed never to use it again. I just really felt that my skin was clean and moisturized after every use of this Micellair water.

Now, because this Micellair is so gentle and has 0% alcohol, I find that it does have a difficult time removing waterproof mascaras and really longlasting lipsticks such as the Maybelline Matte Ink. I can't blame it... those makeup products really have amazing longevity and that's why I prefer using something oil-based for those products. I also noticed that I need to use more cotton pads when removing makeup using Micellair compared to L'Oreal's micellar water. It's not really a big issue for me, but it might be, for some.

For now, I'm giving my L'Oreal Micellar Water a break and I'll continue to purchase this Nivea Micellair. I really love how gentle it is on skin, no stinging, and I love that it leaves my skin moisturized and that it helps unclog pores.

I bought this for only PHP 99 at Festival Mall Alabang, but they're now distributing it nationwide so check out the stores near you!
