iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer Whitening Vita

iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer Whitening Vita Review

Today's post is all about the iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer Whitening Vita, also known as the moisturizer for office people who freeze and get all the moisture sucked out of their lives for 8 to 9 hours a day. Obviously, I'm kidding.

When I first saw it, I was kind of surprised since it was color blue and the texture is quite different. Usually, moisturizers are white, runny and creamy or a colorless runny gel-type. I've only had one moisturizer similar to this. It comes in a jar and it's quite expensive. No, let me rephrase. It's a high-end product that's very, very expensive. But seriously, I'd pick this Whitening Vita over that one any time.

The texture isn't runny and not greasy. It's not really gel-type either. But as you can see from the swatch above, it just stays put where you apply it. And when you spread the product, you'll see the "water-based" feature it boasts of. The moment you spread the moisturizer, you feel the coolness and the watery texture it has. It hydrates asap and the skin absorbs it in seconds. See the swatch above? The first photo above looks okay and dry but after applying the moisturizer, it just looks healthier right? It's perfect before applying your makeup. Oh, did I mention it smells wonderful too? It smells relaxing and refreshing.

I'm not the most keen on using moisturizers before because I thought it would make my skin oilier. But as it turns out, skin gets oilier when it feels dry and it feels that it has to produce more sebum just to hydrate the skin. Upon learning that, that was the only time I started using moisturizers. I know right? Late bloomer. I found that it helped in applying foundation because it makes your skin smoother and hydrated. After taking a shower, I apply my eye cream and then I use this moisturizer. I use this Whitening Vita before applying my primer and before makeup.

What I love about it is that it just feels so smooth and it's not runny at all. I can control where I want the product to be because it's not dripping from my face. Haha. It makes my skin healthy, hydrated and and it just feels so light. It's also easily absorbed by my skin because after applying this moisturizer, it just takes seconds before I put on my primer. A bonus, it helps prevent premature aging. I'm hitting the quarter-life and I'm already feeling the effects of aging, so anything that helps my skin is a good thing and on top of the list!

Overall thoughts? Great moisturizer. Feels light, not greasy, smells great, not runny, lives up to its claims (even the skincare claims), easily absorbed by skin, just all the good things you can ask for in a bottle. The big 50ml bottle costs PHP 200 and if you're on the go, you can just buy them in 6ml sachets that cost PHP 20. It's available in all leading department stores.

  1. Hi Maj, I analyzed from your post na this is your morning routine: eye cream, moisturizer, primer, make-up.
Do you not use sunblock? I think you should. That's a very important step in everyone's morning ritual.
And if you do use one, what brand?

    1. Hi, i actually don't have a "morning routine" because i'm currently on the graveyard shift and the sun isn't really a concern. but i use celeteque and GT moisturizing cream for the body. GT is a pinoy brand from cebu if i'm not mistaken that you can see in groceries or department stores. it has spf 60 too.
