Celeteque recently launched their DermoCosmetics line and the first one that I'll be reviewing is the Cheek Color Stick in the shade Pink.

Celeteque Cheek Color Stick Review

I never thought I'd love a cream blush, but this product has blown me away.

Here's the thing... I don't like cream blushes. I think they're hard to use. I've had high-end ones but I just don't like the formula. Some cream blushes you have to spread ASAP or else you'll end up with a dot on the face. Cream blushes should be used with your fingers because the heat on your hands will help the product spread easily blah, blah... I just don't like cream blushes okay? I don't like using my hands when applying makeup. Brushes are made to make our lives easier. Let's admit it... blush brushes have saved our cheeks.

But anyway, I'm making an exception for this product. I chose to review this product first because I really like this Cheek Color Stick! And now, let me say that again with a Carly Rae Jepsen voice... I really, really, really, really, really, really like you... And I want you. Do you want me? Do you want me too? haha. But seriously, I really love this product and I feel like it likes me too since it's giving my skin skincare benefits as well. This is included in the nourishing products of DermoCosmetics.

I never usually do this, but let the geek in me unfold. This product has:
  • Vitamin E that keeps the skin moisturized and healthy.
  • Bisabolol that reduces flaking and restores suppleness.
  • Sweet Almond Oil that locks-in moisture on skin to keep it nourished.

The formula is super soft and smooth. I don't need to hurry when putting it on. It's not sticky and it won't be just a dot on your face even if you haven't blended it out after 10 seconds. It just literally glides on top of skin. Also, this product isn't scented unlike their Blush and Face Contour Kit which I guess is good news for people who are sensitive to smell. Although, I love the smell of the Blush and Face Contour Kit... like you can literally smell the moisture so I kind of wish that they included the smell here.

When I first used this, I thought of strobing or highlighting because this product in this shade just made my skin illuminate... okay, big word right? But it just looked glowy, healthy plus it feels great on skin. This does not feel heavy at all. I don't know... I just felt great wearing it. And did I mention this is super long lasting? I have oily skin and at the end of a 10-hour work, I can still see it. It didn't look oily, just dewy. What's the best part? No breakouts. Celeteque indeed fused perfectly their power of skincare in this DermoCosmetics line. It's great for sensitive and acne-prone skin like mine.

Is it multi-tasking? I'm going to have to say yes. Eyeshadow base, yes. Highlighter, yes. Blush, just apply more of it and blend...yes. I'm going to have to pass on the lips though... the name is Cheek Color Stick remember?

Overall thoughts? I'm in love. I love everything about this Cheek Color Stick. Great for oily skin and dry skin, long lasting, can be used under blush, didn't cause any breakouts, moisturized my cheeks, feels very light, easy to blend whether you use your fingers or a stipple brush, just all good things from my end.

Where to get it? Watsons, SM, all leading department stores. It costs PHP 645 and it's available in two shades.

  1. I haven't heard about Celeteque, but if it's available in your Watsons, I hope it will be here soon! I have never tried cream blush before and I always avoid shimmery blushes. But this sounds so good!
I just nominated you on my first Liebster Award, I hope you'll participate! Looking forward for your tag! :D
