Etude House Happy Teatime Lemon Tea Cleansing Cream

Etude House Happy Teatime Lemon Tea Cleansing Cream

We all know removing makeup is one of the most important things to do before going to bed.

If you want to know more about this product, read on!

Etude House Happy Teatime Lemon Tea Cleansing Cream

Packaging-wise, the product just comes in a big cute tub. Sigh. Etude House really has the cutest packagings. See how they managed to make this simple container look cute? It kind of reminds me of the tea pots from Beauty and the Beast.

The product is basically a cold cream with a lemon scent that breaks down makeup. The cream applies super smooth and it removes ALL of my makeup with just one use before going to bed. I just dot the product all over my face and rub it in circular motions. It actually feels weird. It's just like you're spreading oil all over your face. Take note, this just breaks down makeup so you still have to use a facial wash/cleanser after it. The sales assistant also told me that I can use cotton or tissue instead of having to wash my face with water but yeah, I prefer water in removing the cream.

The cleansing cream removes my foundation, concealer, blush, eyebrow and eyeshadow products, eyeliner, lipstick, and of course, the most time consuming to remove, mascara. It removed products which are from drugstore in my range to high-end. It even has no problem removing the waterproof products. And while doing all of that, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized as ever. P.S. It doesn't really sting my eyes unlike those oil-based makeup removers.

Stuff to consider: If you are used to that squeaky clean feeling (like me) then you'll feel kind of gross while using this product. It's just because of the moisturizing ingredients. Most of the time I feel like there's still makeup on my face BUT nope, I'm wrong. I use it with my Argan Oil facial wash and I even checked and used a toner just to see if there's still makeup on my face and the cotton ball looked clean. So, no residue there!

There's also no "spatula" included (which isn't a big deal for me) but dipping your fingers all over the tub might not be the most hygienic thing to do even if your hands are clean. I suggest you just buy Popsicle sticks or a plastic stick just to ensure that you're not getting makeup residue into the tub when you're reaching out for more.

All in, I really love this product. I'd definitely repurchase it in a heartbeat. It didn't make my skin breakout. It removed all of my makeup. It smells good and it's super affordable at PHP 198.00. Happy makeup removing ladies!

  1. Cute! I'm so interested on doing the double cleansing regimen but it's hard for me to decide what product would fall under my budget line. You enlighten a bit confusion about cream and oil based, glad to know it will not sting eyes. :)
