3CE Back to Baby Pore Velvet Primer Review

3CE Pore Velvet Primer Review

The 3CE Pore Velvet Primer kind of re-introduced me to primers.

For the past few months I have skipped using primers just because I was too lazy. Actually, I've gone to using less and less products in my routine all because I'm always late for work. I always get out of bed late, and I have to make up for lost time right? Better use less products I thought... which was kind of wrong.

But when I discovered the 3CE Back to Baby Pore Velvet Primer, yup, primers are definitely back in the game.

The before-after is a picture you have to see!

Baby-like skin is smooth, flawless, and have no pores. For this complexion, even out the tone of your skin first. This primer makes the skin a perfect canvas with its creamy texture that controls oil and blurs imperfections on your skin.

Review:
Packaging is probably my least favorite thing about the 3CE Pore Velvet Primer just because it reminds me so much of a toothpaste where if you squeeze it in the middle, it leaves a big dip. This is not for OC people I assure you. It's super cute though coming in with a baby pink and black color combination.

For the primer itself, I love the scent. Texture isn't really a silicon-type primer like I'm used to. It feels more like a cream, but feels very, very light on the skin and it applies like a dream. It makes my skin feel super smooth. It also instantly mattifies and evens out my skin tone as you can see on my before and after shot.

I'm quite in love with this product.

Is this better than Smashbox Photofinish Primer? I'd say it is.

Is it better than Benefit Porefessional? For me, it does almost the same job, but 3CE Pore Velvet Primer makes my skin tone even, which the Benefit Porefessional doesn't do. And hey, this is definitely more affordable.

Summing it up, I love it. I think that it does what it claims and it's able to blur my pores, create an even canvass, plus it also instantly mattifies and it controls oil throughout the day. As for that perfect-skin-no-pores-look, it could be achievable depending on your concealer and your foundation. But the 3CE Pore Velvet Primer is a good stepping stone to get that look. Definitely a must try!

Got this included in my Althea Korea Born This Way Box.

  2. Ay gusto ko nito! Yun Benefit palang at yun Quick FX ang mga primer na nasusubukan ko. Hirap kasi kapag sobrang bilis mag oil up, lakas maka haggard!
