The Face Shop Watery Tint Review and Swatch

The Face Shop Watery Tint Review

I can now finally say "kinain na din ako ng sistema." I am now super in love with lip tints and I can't stop using The Face Shop Watery Tint in 01 Pink Bella. And yes, I finished the Goblin series in three days because I got addicted to Kim Shin. Haha. Like why can't I have my own hubby with powers? Lol.

Review
I've always wanted to try this lip tint ever since I saw it go buy one get one in stores. I believe The Face Shop still had their Kakao collection on as the packaging and unfortunately, it was all sold out the moment I went in. So, what I did was I kinda stalked The Face Shop in Festival Mall, Alabang Town Center, and also their Instagram so I could be updated the moment they do another BOGO sale. Looks like my perseverance worked, because hey, guess who got two The Face Shop Watery Tint lippies for PHP 249? Obviously me. After swatching all the shades, I immediately picked 01 Pink Bella and then the SA suggested I get 04 Red Up as it was the best seller.

The Face Shop Watery Tint comes with a doe foot applicator that's uber soft and very easy to use. It's very comfortable on the lips and it can apply this lip tint just like liquid lipstick. One crazy thought that I always had was how can Korean actresses eat noodles and not have their lipstick transfer nor fade? How!? I guess I know the answer now. It's probably because they weren't using lipstick. Instead, they were using lip tints. The Face Shop Watery Tints are very pigmented as you can see on the swatch above.

It has a water-gel texture which I find unique and one of the best selling points of this lip tint. It's not super thin and liquidy that it would drip down your lips, and it's not thick and viscous either that you won't be able to spread it on your lips or use this as a cheek stain. When worn, it doesn't accentuate dry areas and it never dried out my lips even after the color faded. It lasts about 4 to 5 hours on me with meals and I just usually re-apply this before heading home from the office.

One of my favorite things about The Face Shop Watery Tint in Pink Bella (aside from it being easy to use and I could apply this within 5-seconds without a mirror... because you know, always-late-problems) would be that it just looks natural on me. It doesn't look like I'm too made up, and it also doesn't make me look like I don't care at all. It just always gives me a fresh look.

Oh, and my fiance can attest to that. He already promised he would buy me two of these if another buy one get one sale come out! I'm actually excited to go back to The Face Shop when that happens! If one day you see this shade all sold out.., it was me! Haha
