I know it's been ages since I last posted about my Derma Diaries. Actually, it wasn't really the most timely either, because a week after I had my Fraxel Laser done, my mom passed away. Yes, imagine facing people with thousands of dots on your face. Come to think of it, it was quite embarrassing and probably one of the worst months of my life, but I didn't give a care either, so it's okay. Haha.

What's the update on my skin? I'm happy to announce that it's made about a 75% recovery. I still have a lot of blemishes, unevenness and cystic acne, but this is SO much better than the state before. I'll try to post an updated skincare routine, most products are still from my dermatologist and this includes today's review, the Heliocare Purewhite Radiance capsules.

These capsules are worth gold. I'm not even kidding. It's super expensive as hell and it's not widely distributed. These are only available at clinics and actually, I support their decision to do so. My officemate was trying to look for Heliocare products and when she did find one online, they were selling them for 8K! I told her wtf, my derma is selling me these capsules for PHP 3,000. So folks, be really careful when buying this product. You want to get them at a trusted clinic okay?

Review
I have found very little information and reviews about Heliocare, so I decided to share my own. This stuff works and this is probably why it's always soldout at my doctor's clinic. I think a lot of people are also hoarding this product and trying to keep it their little secret. I'm not blaming them, if I were to discover the fountain of youth, I probably won't tell anyone either. Haha. But you guys know I love you, so I'm sharing this with you. Yes, these capsules really work.

This is actually my second jar and heck yeah, the PHP 3,000 is so worth it. I'm taking 1 capsule a day, I'm six days in, and I can already see a huge difference.

What made me decide to buy it again? Well on my first jar months ago, I noticed a big improvement on my skin and my body. My doctor wanted me to try Heliocare because not only is it an oral sunblock, it also has Fernblock which controls and blocks the main enzyme responsible for melanin production. I had a lot of acne scars then, and I did notice that my skin and blemishes got whiter while I was drinking Heliocare. But wait, not only did my scars and skin get whiter, it also made me look fresh-faced and stress-free. I swear, it's like it subtracted five years on how I looked. It made me look well-rested with 8 hours of sleep when in reality, I was only having four. I swear this stuff is amazing!

Lately, I've been super stressed in the office and also about wedding planning (oops, yes, I said it. Haven't made official announcements yet, so if we're friends on Facebook, let's keep it mum. Haha) Not only do I look horrible, I also felt horrible and that's why I bought Heliocare again. I'm not really after the whitening effects that it has. What I really want is to look fresh-faced and blooming again. I'm only about a week in, and I can already see a big difference. The looking "radiant" claim is true, and I love, love, love this product. It's kind of my own fountain of youth in capsule form :)

** UPDATE July 2017
The price has skyrocketed that I'm unable to purchase it myself. Lol. PHP 5,000 and sometimes PHP 6,000? Honestly not worth it anymore for that price. I could've gotten an IV of glutathione and multivitamins for that amount and I'd only have to do that once a month. Such a shame that they jacked up the price ever since this post.

I'm on the hunt to find a dupe, so please cross your fingers I find one. If you have suggestions too, please don't hesitate to reach out to me :)
