Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque Review

An unexpected find in Healthy Options!

I love this! I bought it for my acne because my whole face was going haywire especially in my forehead area. I didn't know what was happening and I was in panic mode. I used this for about a month together with my Maxipeel exfoliant and long and behold, my skin has gotten so much better. It's not in its prime condition like before, but I'd rather have 20 small bumps in my face than 50!

It's a clay mask that you have to leave on your face for about 10 minutes (but I do 15-30 minutes) and it smells like toothpaste. You have to shake the bottle first because sometimes the more liquid parts of the mask settles at the bottom. It doesn't sting at all, and it hardens to a matte powdery finish and provides a little oil control after you use it.

It seriously helped with my acne (white-heads - you know, those zits that you pop just because you can) because it dries them out much faster. A pimple like that lasts for about 5 days without me popping it and when I used this, I found that it reduced the time from 2-3 days only. It also helped with my cystic acne.

I tried using it everyday for five days because I was desperate and I found that it really doesn't help you that way. Best way for me to use it is twice a week after washing my face and before bed time.
Overall, great product. You can get it from your local drugstores, but for Asia and the Philippines, it's available at Healthy Options. I bought mine from Healthy Options Festival Mall, Alabang about a month ago for PHP 320.
