Benefit Cosmetics Coralista Blush Review

I've always been asked what's my highlighter in selfies. Sometimes, it's the The Balm Mary Lou Manizer (click here), but most of the time, it's just blush on my cheeks and it's the Benefit Cosmetics Blush in Coralista :)

This blush comes with its own natural-bristle brush and a lot of people are actually using this brush for contouring. Haven't tried it though, but I do find the brush quite soft.

It's described as a warm coral-pink shade that cheers up every skintone in seconds. It has hints of pearl and pairs perfectly with bronzer.

Found this selfie from last 2015. I mean look at that glowww! Also wearing my favorite Stila Eyeliner and Colourpop Lumiere on the lips.

Time check: 2016, wow do I look stressed or whatt. Gad, I need a vacation! Haha.

Motd: Maybelline White Super Fresh Foundation, Benefit Cosmetics Coralista blush, and Pink Sugar Hot Mess lipstick.

Benefit Cosmetics Coralista Blush

Everybody seems to love this blush and now I know why. This coral-pink shade just seems to fit every skin tone. It doesn't have shimmer in it, but it does give you a natural glow while having flushed pink cheeks. It looks very natural and can be used for everyday wear, work, school, and no-makeup-makeup looks.

Coralista is very pigmented even though it's quite light in color, so be careful how much you put on your brush. Usually, lighter colored blushes tend to be chalky, but Coralista is super smooth and easy to blend. It also lasts quite long considering I have oily skin. I'd say 4-5 hours before I see it fading.

The sad thing about it though is that the blush comes in a box (just like all the powder blushes from Benefit Cosmetics) and it really isn't that travel friendly. I haven't brought this to work just because I find it bulky + the box packaging is too pretty to just be squished inside my bag. Also note that the blush doesn't have a mirror. I think they repackaged the blushes and included a mirror on the lids, but I have yet to see it.

I know Benefit Cosmetics is quite in the higher end range when it comes to price. But it's just a great blush and you're getting a lot of product. I believe this retails for PHP 1,750+ in the malls but I got mine from @all_about_authentic for only PHP 1,450. Talk about makeup savings! It's a perfect gift for yourself just because you didn't melt this 2016! Haha.

Overall thoughts? Coralista is worth the hype. If you're a beach babe and looking for that coral blush to complement your tan, this blush should be you go-to. The description of "summertime, all the time" in their website is so on point. This warm coral pink shade looks great on fair, tan and even deeper skintones. It's very pigmented, easy to blend, and it gives you a natural glow on the cheeks that you don't really need highlighter anymore. This shade is perfect for everyone and you can build it up or sheer it down. It's just perfect and I love this shade :)
