BeautyMNL Experience and Haul

Beauty MNL

If you've read my previous Watsons Haul, I mentioned there that I've been on a lot of shopping trips lately, so that also includes online shopping right?

Beauty MNL

I've heard a lot of good things about BeautyMNL, and I've actually been reading some of their articles over Facebook. I'm kind of familiar with them, and I believe they're quite new in the market. Anyway, I decided try them out and see what the buzz is about.

Here's what I bought:

Beauty MNL

Beach Born Sea Salt Spray

Beauty MNL

L'Oreal Color Riche Luminous Lipstick in Saucy Mauve

Beauty MNL

L'Oreal Color Riche Matte Parisian Browns

Beauty MNL

Golden Cup Balm in Tin Cup (4g)

Beauty MNL

Be Organic Oatmeal Soap

Be Organic Exfoliating Oatmeal Soap

Beauty MNL

I also got freebies from St. Ives and Tresemme.

Beauty MNL

First of all, I'm a very happy kid with my haul. I went in thinking I'd just buy a few makeup items -- you know, the regular ones that you see in the malls, but then I saw the selections and I never knew that I could find these brands on BeautyMNL. I believe I have two items here which are only PHP 25. I mean how cool is that, finding something super affordable in this beauty site, never expected that.

Their site was quite easy to navigate. They had a lot of products but I never felt overwhelmed. Have any of you experienced that? Because I did. Sometimes when I browse through shopping sites, it just feels too much and I tend to just click X and cancel my order. So yes, good job to them mainly because it means that I'll be returning.

One thing that I liked too was that I could see insights from other people who have already bought and used the product. They have quick reviews at the bottom left and you can read how it worked for other people with the same skin type, features, even age et cetera. I think a lot of people are encouraged to give their feedback because once they reach a certain number of reviews, they'll automatically get PHP 500 credit from BeautyMNL.

They have various methods for payment too. I used a debit card, but you could pay through PayPal, credit cards, and also through banks. They guarantee next-day delivery to Metro Manila addresses and 3 to 5 working days for the rest of the Philippines a.k.a the provincial areas like where I live. It took about 3 days all-in-all from ordering to the item being delivered to our door step. It felt like forever mainly because I was just excited to get my new products! Haha. One thing to note, they don't deliver on weekends and holidays because of course, their team needs their beauty rests too.

Overall, I had a great time shopping at BeautyMNL. I loved how easy it was to purchase, pay, and I loved their selection. They had makeup, skincare, hair, tools... they even had a special tab for all the organic lovers out there. One quirky thing I found was the Golden Cup balm. You might be thinking why the heck I purchased that... but for people like me who have dry, sensitive, and "itch-prone" skin, this could be our savior. Haha. I had a great shopping experience and I'll surely purchase from them again.

P.S. They have a monthly selfie contest. So for all the selfie lovers out there, I'm sure you'd love to join this one. Here are the mechanics:
1. Post a selfie of your #FOTD on Instagram. You can go as natural or experimental as you want with your beauty look—hair included!
2. Add the hashtag #selfieMNL, then tag @beautymnl and @rosannaaranaz (on the photo, and not just the caption).
3. At the end of every month, starting this April, Rosanna will choose the 10 best selfies in the bunch and feature them on her BeautyMNL column.
4. The 10 winning beauties get a printed polaroid of their selfie courtesy of Printster, plus a BeautyMNL Gift Card worth P200, delivered straight to their doorsteps!

So, good luck babes, and happy shopping on BeautyMNL!
