Let me start off by saying these Matte in Detail lipsticks are the most affordable matte liquid lipsticks I've tried!

Packaging-wise, it comes in a small square tube and it also has a small doe foot applicator which isn't super soft, but it does apply the color evenly and precisely. I tossed these liquid lipsticks in my handbag for weeks, and I'm amazed to tell you guys that the brand design did not rub off.

When it comes to the formula, these liquid lipsticks are creamy, long-wearing, waterproof, and transfer-proof. I find these to apply very smoothly on the lips and they feel very light. The nudes and browns are more pigmented compared to the reds because as you can see on the swatches above, I was able to achieve the full color of the nudes in just one swipe while the reds kind of needed another layer. My advice is go for the browns when trying these liquid lipsticks out, and definitely check out my favorite shades called D5 Loth and D16 Fhaye. Fhaye reminds me so much of my MAC Retro Matte liquid lipstick in Dance with Me.

Okay, you might be thinking with just the price of PHP 225 a pop, how do these liquid lipsticks compare to high-end ones? So, I've tried a couple of high-end ones and I gotta say kudos to Detail Make Over because these Matte in Detail liquid lipsticks are one of the best matte liquid lipsticks I've tried. I find that these lippies are seriously better than the Kylie Kit.

Actually, I don't know what more I can ask for with these liquid lipsticks. It's very, very pigmented and affordable. It lasts all day long and it doesn't easily transfer to food or utensils, so I don't really need to re-apply at work. It doesn't dry out my lips and it smells super fruity good... It smells kind of like watermelons, but hey, I could be wrong. Lol.

The bottom line is, it's just a really, really good product and I highly recommend it.
