As you can see, it immediately mattified my face.

Celeteque CC Matte Powder Review
This powder works really great together with the Celeteque Foundation and it really lives up to its claim of being matte. The powder I received was broken and the lid just wouldn't close no matter what I did. However, I liked how the sponge can be separated from the powder itself and the square mirror on the lid. Texture-wise, the powder applies very smooth and evenly using the sponge it comes with. Use a sponge for medium coverage and use a fluffy brush for a lighter one.

If you look at the before and after photo above, my foundation looked quite dewy before I applied the Celeteque CC Matte Powder.  I have the shade beige which is actually the darkest shade out of the three, so I'm not sure how this would fit morena skin tones. For oil control, unfortunately, it couldn't withstand my uber oily T-zone. I had to do some re-touch just three hours after the first application. It's just not right for this hot and humid country.

What I loved the most about this powder was how it can truly mattify any foundation that I had compared to any of my other powders. I didn't experience any allergies nor acne breakouts while using this powder, so it's amazing for sensitive skin. I think this would work great for people with dry or aging skin as it contains moisturizing properties and it can reduce wrinkles, dark circles, blemishes and age spots.

This retails for PHP 749.00 and is available in leading department stores and Watsons.
