Celeteque Blush and Face Contour Kit Review

Celeteque Blush Contour Kit Review

Ever had a powder product worth smelling? I won't advise doing so because it's powder and inhaling it is inevitable. Haha. But wow, this blush and face contour kit smells so good. And yes I'm very happy that I apply this nourishing product on to my cheeks.

Here's a requested one... a review of the Celeteque Blush and Face Contour Kit.

MOTD: All Celeteque DermoCosmetics products except for the brows (testing out the Anastasia dipbrow pomade). I thought I'd just show you all of it in one go.

I already told you it smells so good right? Haha.

Packaging-wise, Celeteque really kept it simple for all their DermoCosmetics line. Minimalist packaging but this has three full pans of contour powder, blush, highlighter and includes a big mirror which I'm very appreciative of. I always check my teeth after eating and I use my blush mirrors for that haha.

This is part of their nourishing line and this includes:
  • Mica for skin clarity and radiance.
  • Rosy White Crystals for longer-lasting color.
  • Castor Oil that fights skin aging.
  • Multivitamin Herbal Complex (Vitamins A, E, F, H and B) that soothes and protects skin from irritation.
  • Combination of mineral gems, diamond, tourmaline, and sapphire that exfoliates skin and reveals healthy glowing complexion.
The powders aren't creamy but they aren't powdery too. Kind of satin-like... They're quite smooth and easy to blend. I'm using my contour brush from the Real Techniques Core Collection set to apply the contour powder on the sides of my nose, my eyelids and my temples. I don't really contour my cheekbones but for the photo above, I did... just to see if the shade works for me.

I used the same brush for the highlight. I highlighted my nose, my forehead and my cheeks as seen in the photo above. It does give quite a luminous glow too and it's not very #halata. It looks very natural.

The blush color is pigmented just like the other powders and it's a bright pink. I love mixing the highlighter and blush for glowy cheeks and for the photo above, I kind of mixed the blush and the contour shade so it seems darker.

P.S. The Real Techniques contour brush works best for the two pans because it's just the right size. I used a tapered blush brush and it's just so big for this one that it actually reached the other shades.

One thing I also like about this product is that it's very long lasting. After having it on for 10 hours, I can still see it even if it's faded. Blush, yes. Highlighter, yes. Contour shade, so-so. The contour shade is a little light for my liking. It's buildable, but I just like my bronzers/contour powders a little warmer. I believe it can be a multi-tasking product.

Final thoughts? I like this face and contour kit. It basically lived inside my office kikay kit this month. Contour, blush and highlighter all in one sturdy kit with a big mirror is one of the best kits ever. Pigmented, longlasting, natural looking shades for my skin. It has anti-aging and moisturizing properties, and I did not break out from using this. It's good for acne-prone, sensitive skin, oily and dry skin types.

This retails for PHP 845 at leading department stores and is available in two shades.
