Nars Orgasm Dupe List

Today's post is about a very hyped about product, the Nars Orgasm blush. I've heard that Nars Orgasm is the world's universal blush, meaning it works perfectly with every skin tone imagineable. It's quite pricey for a blush if you're a cheapskate like me living in this country, so I just thought I'm going to find similar shades in my collection and if there's a close one that can be a dupe.

Left to right: Nars Orgasm, Wet N Wild Pearlescent Pink, Milani Cosmetics Dolce Pink, ELF Cosmetics Peachy Cheeky, Milani Cosmetics Luminoso

So far, Google says the dupes for Nars Orgasm are Milani Cosmetics Luminoso and NYX Pinched. I don't have Pinched and I don't feel the need for it since I already have the high-end shade, so I'm going to base my thoughts off of Luminoso. As you can tell, Luminoso [last swatch] is wayy more peach than Orgasm. I think the similarities may be the glow and the super fine shimmers they have. Dupe? Can be but it's really more peach than pink. I think both are universal colors that you can use with any shade of lipstick.

I thought Milani Cosmetics Dolce Pink is the main dupe here because it shows the closest swatch. But the difference is Nars Orgasm has finer gold shimmers while Dolce Pink seems to have bigger silver shimmers. Is it a big difference? Actually yes. Orgasm gives you a gold glow while Dolce Pink gives you a white-silvery-pink glow. Is it a perfect dupe? Well not really, but the thought is there. Luminoso provides a more similar finish to Orgasm than Dolce Pink.

Wet N Wild Pearlescent Pink is wayy too pink compared to Orgasm but it also has shimmers so I thought it may give off the same effect. Nope, I was wrong. haha. It's too pink and the shimmers are scattered and not fine compared to Orgasm.

Last but not the least is ELF Cosmetics Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky. I was honestly surprised with ELF's baked blush. It has mixed reviews in the beauty community being not pigmented enough, but I love it. I mix it with other matte blushes and the finish is just perfect. As you can tell on the swatch, it might be too light to dupe Orgasm but I find that it also has the same effect. It gives you the same glow like Luminoso and the shimmers are finer than Dolce Pink. Using this alone is actually good for my olive skin tone but if you mix this with another light pink blush, you might be able to dupe Orgasm.

So far, those are the only blush swatches that I've compared. I haven't tried duping it with other local brands because I haven't seen similar shades but I might look for the glow/finish that can dupe it. Happy Swatch Saturday loves!
