Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso Review and Swatch

Remember my first impression about this blush? Scratch that.

The blush is a sheer-peachy color that has little shimmers. It’s not glittery and I felt it was easier to apply than Bella Rosa. It’s very pretty on the cheeks and I didn’t have to use my foundation brush to sheer it out even if I applied too much. It’s buildable, but it doesn’t give you that clownish effect.

I like that the shimmers are very small and not noticeable indoor. It doesn’t make my face look oilier when first applied and I think it can suit every skin tone. It’s such a versatile shade.

Staying power is what got me sad. I didn’t expect it to start to fade at 2 to 3 hours. That's the time when my face starts to oil up and the color sheer out until it vanishes completely. I also noticed that it kind of made my face look dewy/shiny.

Will I recommend this?
Still a yes especially if you have dry skin or you’re a fan of that dewy look. For combination/oily skin, matte blushes work best, but it doesn’t mean that you can't try shades with shimmer in it like this. It's a great everyday blush for work or school. It's easy to work with but you just have to reapply this throughout the day.
