Fashion 21 Eyebrow Duo Review

Brows are not twins. They are more likely sisters.

Oh the brow talk, yeah, we’ve all had this one. If you have perfect eyebrows, then I envy you. But as for me, I am unfortunately not blessed with gorgeous thick brows. My brows are very thin and sparse. I don’t even know why or how that happened but it’s just like that. Oh, and I feel that my right brow is prettier than my left one because it needs less work. Lol.

For quite some time, I have been using my ELF 100 piece Eyeshadow for filling in my brows. There are two creamy matte shades that just go perfectly with my brows but I've hit pan on one of them, hence, here goes my search for a brow product. I have eyebrow pencils but I feel that eyebrow shadows are more my thing. I don’t want super perfect brows, I just want them to look somewhat fuller and natural.

The first time I used this, I was using a flat liner brush (because you know, why would I even bother using the brush that it came with? It's barely usable) I thought I got a dud. It felt like plastic! It was sooo hard it felt like I was trying to scrape solid plastic and put it into my brows. Well, that answers your first question of is it creamy? No. I tried wetting the brush a little and even just swatching it with fingers just to get the first layer off, and that did the trick. But did it become creamy and transfer on my brows? Still a no.

I know brow products at least have 2 years lifetime and I saw that it hasn’t been even a year since this product was manufactured, so I don't know if this just inconsistency or I got a bad product which is barely useable. You may have a different experience with this product and loved it, so if you did, please let me know.

I know that they had a revamp and the packaging is now black. Maybe they changed the formula too... I'm not sure. But all in, I found it difficult to use. It doesn't transfer on the brush, and it seemed to have a plastic coating on top which I can't even scrape off.

Verdict as of now = unusable.
