Should you buy the Fashion 21 Eyebrow Duo?

Fashion 21 Eyebrow Duo Review

Are you looking to purchase this brow product soon? Read about my full thoughts...

I am unfortunately not blessed with gorgeous thick brows. My brows are very thin and sparse. Not so thankful to genetics on this one, and somehow, I have this feeling that right brow is prettier than my left one because it needs less work. Crazy, I know.

For quite some time, I have been using my ELF 100 piece Eyeshadow for filling in my brows. There are two creamy matte shades that just go perfectly with my brows but I've hit pan on one of them, hence, here goes my search for a brow product. I have eyebrow pencils but I feel that eyebrow shadows are more my thing. I don’t want super perfect brows, I just want them to look somewhat fuller and natural.

Fashion 21 Eyebrow Duo Review
The first time I used this, I was using a flat liner brush (because the brush that it came with wasn't really that user-friendly) and I thought I got a dud. It felt like plastic! It was so hard it felt like I was trying to scrape solid plastic and put it on to my brows. Well, that answers your first question of is it creamy. I tried wetting the brush a little and even just swatching it with fingers just to get the first layer off, and that did the trick. But still, it didn't become creamy as I imagined.

I know brow products at least have a two-year lifetime, and I checked the manufacturing date at the back and this product was just months new. I don't know if this is just inconsistency or I got a bad product. You may have a different experience with this product and loved it, so if you did, please let me know.

I know that they had a revamp and the packaging now comes in black. Maybe they changed the formula too? I'm not sure. But all in all, I found it difficult to use. The powder doesn't transfer on the brush, it seemed to have a plastic coating which I can't even scrape off. This product which I have is just really unusable.
