Etude House BB Magic Balm Review

Let me tell you straight up what a waste of money this was for me.

Department store lighting is the worst! Today, I bought a BB cream that didn't match me in any way possible. I was looking to replace my Etude House BBdation, which I'm completely in love with, but the SA said that it was out of stock. I asked her what's the best next thing, and she introduced me to the Etude House BB Magic Balm.

Unfortunately, it's not the best for yellow undertones. It's also very hard to blend using the brush that it comes with and it doesn't really adapt to my skin tone like a BB cream promises to do. Coverage is light and when I tried to build it up, it just looked cakey and unnatural on me. It can't control my super oily skin and I basically need to touch up after just an hour. It leaves a dewy finish and the worst part of it is it has a white cast in flash photography.

This is definitely one product I'll always regret buying.

  1. I rarely listen to SAs. More often than not, they just talk you into buying stuff just so they could make sale :(

    1. In my entire life of buying makeup i have only found 2 SAs that were very helpful. It was one from Etude House in Alabang Town Center and one from Collection 2000 in Festival Mall. AND I MUST ADD that the SAs in NYX SM Makati and SM Aura are such snobs! I'm never gonna buy from them ever again.
